What is Longhorn PHP?

Longhorn PHP is a brand new tech conference brought to you by members of the Austin PHP Meetup, the longest-running tech meetup in Texas’ capital. Longhorn PHP is a community-run, regionally focused conference following in the tradition of the now-retired Lonestar PHP conference in Dallas.

When? Where?

The conference will happen on April 19th – 21st, 2018. The first day will be a tutorial day, where you can dive deep into important topics. The main conference will be Friday and Saturday, April 20th – 21st, 2018.

We’ll be hosting the conference and tutorials at the University of Texas Commons Learning Center. The venue is an easy drive or bus ride from downtown, and is located right below The Domain, a vibrant new shopping district. The Commons Learning Center gives us plenty of space for talks and tutorials, a big open area to mingle, and plentiful parking (included in the price of admission). Why Attend?

Our main goal as a conference is to equip attendees to be better developers. If you work with developers or alongside developers, we’ll showcase tools and techniques to level up your ability to solve the problems you face every day.

You’ll get to learn from and alongside a diverse group of developers from all over the region, country, and even the globe. Whether you’re a junior developer or an experienced programmer, you’ll be learning alongside your peers.
